'Oslo' tops Stockholm fest
'Oslo August 31' London-- Joachim Trier's "Oslo August 31" won the most effective film and cinematography honours within the 22nd Stockholm Film Festival, while Paddy Considine's "Tyrannosaur" needed the award for directorial debut.Tomas Alfredson's "Mess Tailor Soldier Spy," which opened up in the fest November. 9, needed the Fipresci jury award, selected from films not inside the primary competition.The Stockholm Film Fund granted its inaugural prize of $750,000 in production funding to Swedish helmer Lisa Aschan, to purchase her horror project "The Deposit."Beneath the rules in the fund, that's dedicated to aid new female talent, Aschan must have the finished film ready to world premiere at next year's Stockholm fest.The fest closed November. 20 getting a gala screening of Pedro Almodovar's "The Skin Home Is.Inch The honours were given out inside a ceremony November. 19. Other films that acquired within the crowd voting were "Others,Inch "Drive" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene."As formerly introduced, Isabelle Huppert was handed the fest's Lifetime Achievement Award, Alejandro Gonzelez Inarritu received the Visionary Award, and native actress Malin Buska won the L'Oreal Paris Rising Star Award.
